Imperial Dade, a leading North American distributor, has a role available in North Bergen, New Jersey! We are looking for a Corporate Senior Accountant to join our team. The role will be responsible for daily accounting procedures, focusing on areas such as inventory, fixed assets, and leases.

Responsibilities

You will:

• Support operations, perform reconciliations, and provide management with related analyses
• Establish expertise in selected areas
• Maintain, analyze, and reconcile general ledger accounts and supporting documentation.
• Prepare timely and accurate month-end accounting close and associated tasks.
• Assist in preparing internal management review packages and effectively communicate risks and results.
• Seek opportunities to streamline and improve accounting transactions and work with the business to provide accounting and analytical support to meet internal customer needs.
• Assist with external audit deliverables and technical accounting and other ad hoc accounting projects.
• Assist with the finance integration of new acquisitions, including process implementation, alignment, and monitoring.

Qualifications

You have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
• 3-4 years experience.
• Operations accounting experience with a multi-location distribution or manufacturing company.
• Proficiency in Excel; working knowledge of Power BI, Blackline, Real Asset Manager, and / or ProLease are a plus.
• Self-starter able to work in fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to details and a desire to assume new responsibilities.
• Organizational skills with the ability to maneuver through ambiguous situations.
